What is a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)?

If you've lost your license plate and/or decal, you must also visit the County Clerk's office. They will help you complete the necessary paperwork and then put in an order for your replacement plate. The fee is $6.

You'll be given a temporary license plate to use while you wait for your replacement plate, and when your replacement plate arrives, the County Clerk's office will contact you.
